       Фауна муравьёв Корейского полуоострова (Северная Корея, КНДР + Южная Корея) насчитывает около 136 видов и подвидов из 40 родов и предположительно до 200 видов (Kim B.-J., 2003, но без учета работы Радченко, 2005). Для Северной Кореи Радченко (2005) приводит 99 видов, 35 родов, 7 подсемейств. Для Южной Кореи Радченко (2005) приводит цифру в 104 подтвержденных вида и 117 подтвержденных видов для всего Корейского полуострова с учетом всех синонимов и исключений из состава фауны.
       В своем анализе Корейских муравьев, но на японском языке Terayama (1992) давал такие цифры: 5 подсемейств, 41 род и 111 видов для всего полуострова (93 вида из 37 родов и 5 подсемейств для Южной Кореи и 64 вида из 29 родов и 4 подсемейств для Северной Кореи).
