В большом сборнике статей о муравьях, посвященном "Золотому юбилею" работ Эдварда Уильсона в области систематики, рассматриваются вопросы таксономии, систематики и фаунистики, описаны новые для науки виды, проведены ревизии некоторых родов (Axinidris, Mayriella, Metapone, Perissomyrmex, Wasmannia), обнаружены ископаемые грибководы рода Apterostigma в Доминиканском янтаре, впервые найдены самцы рода Leptanilloides. Впервые ревизованы группы видов Myrmica punctiventris, Myrmica crassirugis и Formica pallidefulva.
      Том 80 этого сборника полностью посвящен муравьям и называется ADVANCES IN ANT SYSTEMATICS, включает 26 статей 33 авторов со всего мира.
